How to Report an Error
If you find a factual error, outdated claim, or misleading statement on any Quotex article, please report it via /contacts/ with subject line 'Correction Request'. Include the URL of the article, the specific claim that is incorrect, and ideally a source supporting the corrected information. The editorial team reviews correction requests within 48 hours during business days. If we agree the original content is wrong, we update the article and log the correction here within the same week. We may follow up with you for clarification but you will not be identified publicly.

Categories of Corrections We Track
Corrections fall into one of five categories, and we tag each correction internally to track patterns and improve our process.
- Category 1: Factual error — a verifiable claim was wrong (incorrect payout, wrong regulator status, wrong number)
- Category 2: Outdated data — the claim was correct when published but is no longer accurate (e.g., payout changed since publication)
- Category 3: Missing disclosure — a required risk warning or affiliate disclosure was omitted
- Category 4: Regulatory update — a country's regulatory status changed (e.g., new restriction or new approval)
- Category 5: Misleading framing — the claim was technically accurate but presented in a way that could mislead a reader (most subtle category)
Our Commitment to Transparency
Public correction logs are uncommon in the trading-content industry. Most websites silently edit errors or simply do not respond to corrections. We log corrections publicly because we believe that financial content readers have the right to know how confidently they can rely on the information. A correction log makes our claims more, not less, credible — it shows we are actively maintaining accuracy and we are willing to be held accountable for past mistakes.
