Yes, on OTC pairs only. Real forex, indices, and stocks close on weekends. OTC pairs (EUR/USD OTC, GBP/USD OTC, etc.) trade 24/7 with synthetic prices generated by Quotex's pricing engine. Weekend OTC payouts are similar to weekday OTC payouts (95%+).
Are there scheduled news events I should avoid?
Yes. Major scheduled news (NFP first Friday of month, FOMC meetings, ECB rate decisions, CPI releases) create extreme volatility 5 minutes before and after release. We recommend avoiding all trading on the directly-affected assets (USD pairs for US events, EUR pairs for ECB) during the 10-minute window centered on news time. How do I find an asset's trading hours?
Each asset card on the platform shows its current status (Open/Closed) and next opening time if closed. You can also filter the asset list by 'Open now' from the top filter bar. Can I trade multiple assets simultaneously?
Yes. You can have unlimited concurrent positions on different assets, and even multiple positions on the same asset with different expiries.
